It’s time to continue our journey around the World Showcase for the 2018 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. In part one, we stopped in Future World before crossing the bridge into the World Showcase to begin our journey at Mexico before ending the tour at France.
Today, your humble guide resumes duties and picks up where we left off as we cross over into the United Kingdom. Normally, people stop here for a shot or two at the Rose & Crown Pub or for some of the great fish & chips. But this is Flower & Garden time, so we’re heading directly across from the Pub to the English Tea Garden sponsored by Twinings.
Throughout the garden, you’ll find teacup planters where ingredients for the different Twinings teas are growing. Signage gives details about the type of tea featured as well as the ingredients.
On this particular visit, a PhotoPass photographer was stationed in the garden for those who wanted pictures taken.
Just around the corner from the Tea Garden, you’ll find Tinker Bell and her Fairy Garden complete with tiny houses for the residents of Pixie Hollow in Neverland.
Still in the UK, you’ll find Tinker Bell’s friends Peter Pan and Captain Hook just outside of the fish and chips stand.
As we leave the United Kingdom and head towards Canada, Winnie the Pooh and friends make an appearance!
Speaking of Canada, I have to say this area is one of the most beautiful areas in all of Epcot. Not only during Flower & Garden but year round. If you haven’t explored this area yet, you need to during your next visit.
If you take the walkway to the Le Cellier Steakhouse, you’ll pass through Victoria Gardens which just so happens to be the largest and most detailed of all the pavilions in the World Showcase. You can also venture up the steps to check out the waterfall overlook that doubles as a location for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.
As we complete our way around the World Showcase, we have a few stops left! At Showcase Plaza (the area with the gift shop at the entrance to World Showcase, and across from Refreshment Port), you’ll find Bambi and friends playing in the garden.
New to this year’s festival is the Honey Bee-stro located along the bypass from World Showcase to Future World West. Here you’ll find outdoor kitchens, as well as gardens, themed towards what else? Honey!
As we make our way back to Future World, we run into Daisy Duck near Innoventions.
A quick run across to Future World East, and right behind Mouse Gear a few special guests have arrived from Radiator Springs – Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramierz!
Also in this area, you’ll find the Purple Marlin Garden where plants and bird houses are setup to attract these birds. Educators are on hand to answer questions as well.
Before we head out of the park and wrap up the tour, here are some notable photos that show the beauty that’s all around Epcot during the festival.
As we leave Epcot, some big goofy guy is waving reminding us to come back soon!
If you landed here without checking out the first part of my photo tour, be sure to check it out now! Also, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is home to many different outdoor food kitchens set up all around the World Showcase. Be sure to check out the food and beverage menus as well as my thoughts on some of the offerings, here.
Thanks for coming along for the tour, and be sure to let me know what you thought of this year’s festival by leaving your comments.
