It was just a few weeks ago that Busch Gardens in Tampa announced the return of free beer – something that had been a staple of the theme park from when it was owned by beer giant Anheuser-Busch. The promotion which began May 1st and runs through August 5th offers guests 21 and older, two 7oz pours of a featured beer each day for free. (Read more about Free Beer at Busch Gardens!)
Today, Busch Gardens sister-park in Orlando, SeaWorld, announced they are kicking off a summer of free beer beginning this weekend!
From May 18 through September 2, visitors can stop by Mama’s Pretzel Kitchen Patio to receive two 7oz beers per visit. The selection will rotate throughout the promotion, but will kick off with the park’s own Mako Red Ale, a nod to the shark and the best roller coaster in Orlando! Additional beers that will be part of the rotation include Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Light, Yuengling and more.
Beer is available starting at 10:30am until one hour before the park closes.
In addition to free beer, SeaWorld Orlando is also introducing a new Happy Hour from 4 pm to 8 pm each day at Flamecraft Bar and Sharks Underwater Grill Bar where you buy one drink and get one free! Both locations serve up a variety of domestic and craft beer, and mixed drinks. (Flamecraft is a great place to sit outside, have a cold beer and grab a snack, BTW!)
For those of you into Pin Trading, those who purchase a pin from a SeaWorld Pin Trading location during Happy Hour will receive a free lanyard. Pin trading has been wildly popular (almost cult-like) at Disney parks and was recently introduced at SeaWorld.
I’m sure I’ll be there this weekend to have a few of those Mako Red Ales – it’s really good – and to ride the tallest, fastest, longest roller coaster in Orlando!
