I’ve got some exciting news to share today.
No, I’m not pregnant, I’m not getting married and I didn’t begin stem-cell therapy to treat male pattern baldness.
Each of those would be considered “exciting,” so maybe this doesn’t fit into that category reserved for things of extreme awesomeness, but it’s a tad exciting none the less.
After a much-too-long hiatus of hosting educational webinars on all types of subjects related to eCommerce, the beards asked me to dust off the microphone, clean up my vocabulary, and breathe new life into what was once a marketing mainstay at Solid Cactus.
Being somewhat of a self-confessed egomaniac, how could I refuse?
Besides, I’m told for each webinar I do one negative mark in my employee file will be removed.
This may take a while.
Having done over a hundred webinars, I always walked away from each one learning something. With the way the Internet changes on a daily basis, it’s hard to stay on top of what’s new. Especially when it comes to marketing. Those who have an eCommerce store or a website know that keeping up with Google is far more difficult and less exciting than keeping up with the Kardashians.
The concept of my webinars are very simple. I bribe members of the Cactus team who eat, sleep and drink the subject matter at hand, ask them to put a very simple presentation together, and sit and talk with me for about an hour.
I have a few rules I like my guests to follow: 1) don’t rely or read off the PowerPoint; 2) don’t be shy and; 3) be prepared to have fun! I like my webinars to be entertaining, interactive and of course educational. While I host the session, my guests are the stars. It’s all about showcasing their knowledge and imparting some of that on the attendees.
I return to my hosting duties on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2pm ET when I will be joined by several members of the Solid Cactus Internet Marketing department (Robyn Snyder, Lauren Carey, Jaclyn Rudeski, and Jeff Stolarcyk) who will be dissing on the subject, “Marketing that Works Together, Works for You!”
With the holidays rapidly approaching, it’s a good time for all eCommerce store owners to take a step back and look at how each segment of their marketing efforts is working. During this session, we will take a look at pay-per-click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), comparison shopping engines (CSE), social media and email marketing and talk about how each one of these “channels” can (and should) be working together to provide an impactful return on investment. We will also be looking at reputable SEO companies like https://www.roofingmarketingpros.com/ and assimilate on how they function to optimise the SEO.
The presentation will be very conversational and of course, there will be plenty of time afterwards for you to ask questions and pick the brains of the marketing gurus on the panel. Unfortunately, you will need to bring your own cappuccino and Pringle’s.
So, if you have an hour to kill on the 25th and are looking to pick up some tips on how to improve your overall marketing plan not only for the holidays but for the upcoming new year, sign up for the webinar today – https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/114950000
