Neeps Incorporated, parent company for several leading on-line pet supply companies launched three additional webstores today, taking the total count to 17 with a year end goal of 45.
The latest properties are micro-sites which feature brand specific products and are targeted towards the customer looking to purchase a specific brand without having to search through dozens of other brands on other websites. BuyBeefeaters.com features the most popular rawhide bones and treats for dogs from Petrapport, BuyMerrick.com features Merrick brand natural dog treats and food and BuyOutwardHound.com features the complete line of Outward Hound outdoor gear for dogs from the Kyjen Company.
“By launching micro-sites such as these, we continue to niche-market segments of the pet industry others don’t concentrate on,” according to Neeps Inc. president, Scott Sanfilippo. “We started out niche-marketing in 1994 with the launch of our first property, TheFerretStore.com, and continue with that marketing strategy as we continue to launch additional properties throughout the year.”
Neeps Incorporated plans to launch up to 30 websites in 2006 as part of its web initiative, taking its total property count to 45 by years end. The company is scheduled to launch an additional five sites in June.
Neeps first property, TheFerretStore.com, was launched in 1994. Other web properties include: ActiveK9.com, PetCareCentral.com, RabbitCentral.com, CritterStore.com, AnimalCages.com, QualityDogTreats.com, HealthyPetStore.com, TheKittyStore.com, MyFreeHamster.com, FerretMart.com, BuyDingo.com, MyLittleK9.com and NeepsWholesale.com. Each property is run by a brand manager and order processing and fulfillment is done in-house at the company’s Wilkes-Barre, PA distribution and customer service center.
