Solid Cactus®, a total solutions e-commerce provider, announces its second “Boot Camp,” this year with a twist. The retreat will take place at sea, July 1st to the 5th, touring the Bahamas aboard Disney Wonder® from the Disney Cruise Line®. This continues a Solid Cactus practice of offering novel ways of growing its business and communicating with its clients. The cruise will sail from Port Canaveral, Florida.
“Our Boot Camps are a fantastic way to get e-commerce store owners together,” said Solid Cactus co-founder Scott Sanfilippo. “We network and pick each other’s brains for useful information that can help their businesses back home. This event is no different. The Solid Cactus team will be on hand not only during the seminars, but during all four days so you can schedule one-on-ones with our experts. Okay, this event is a little different. We’ll be at sea!”
“We’ll be holding ‘Sea-minars’ all day on July 4th,” said Sanfilippo. “From 9am to 5pm we’ll have sessions running in three conference rooms on topics such as search engine marketing and how to incorporate rich media into your website.” Solid Cactus provides various programs for e-commerce operators like Cactus Complete Commerce, a back-end CRM, inventory and order management system which allows businesses to operate much more efficiently at every level. Solid Cactus will have six seminars to review the ins and outs of the system. In all, there will be 18 different “sea-minars.” Solid Cactus hosted its inaugural Boot Camp last year in Wilkes-Barre. It was attended by dozens of e-commerce owners and featured 9 seminars.
“We think this is the perfect working vacation,” joked Sanfilippo. “For the adults there’s entertainment day and night including Broadway-style shows, dancing, night clubs and babysitting. Yes, babysitting! After all, kids are not only welcome, there’s plenty for them to do. At Solid Cactus we believe all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. There is nothing dull about a Solid Cactus Boot Camp!”
Last year Solid Cactus was named the 21st “Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania” out of 221,000 companies in the state. “We want to continue to find ways to make work fun,” said Sanfilippo.
