Solid Cactus®, an award-winning web design company and total e-commerce solutions provider, announces that it will make the first donations to worthy area organizations from its “Solid Cactus Cares” fund administered by the Luzerne Foundation. 13 different organizations will receive checks or will be the recipients of website construction or newsletters from Solid Cactus. The checks total $6,900 and there is another $19,750 in value contributed for the construction of the Luzerne Foundation website, the Mohammad Ali Center website and the Luzerne County SPCA print newsletter. The awards will be announced at the Solid Cactus quarterly staff luncheon Friday March 7th at the Woodlands Inn & Resort.
“We’re delighted that we can share some of our success with worthy groups,” said Solid Cactus president and co-founder Scott Sanfilippo. “Our people vote on which charities they think are most deserving, and Solid Cactus matches the contributions our employees have payroll deducted dollar for dollar.
